The Hill is east of Rushville off 247 going south. Turn left onto Ferguson Corners Road. Drive down about a 1/4 mile and WHAMMO! meet your Hill !!!! I still haven't gone down the hill from the top because I never felt safe with the equipment I've had in the past. Well now I have 107MM Electric Flywheels and a 42" Stella "Battle Axe" dropdown and Bear Trucks, not to mention ceramic bearings and Doh Doh Rock Hard Bushings. I will be practicing on Saturday August 20th 2011 at about 6:30 AM. Then again on Sunday August 21st at the same time. I will never recommend or promote anyone who is not extremely experienced with going down hills to attempt this hill on a regular skateboard. There are many video's on Youtube showing what happens when that is tried. Small wheels and inexperience will only get you "Road Rash". Much research and trials for 4 years with various combo's of trucks, bushings, wheels, boards and bearings have got me to this point. My goal is to record 50 plus MPH and I believe this hill will get me that speed eventually. TC

Longboarding in Old Forge, New York
Visited Old Forge New York this past week and had some fun on Big Moose road nearer to Inlet NY but Old Forge is only about 10 miles away.
Longboarding in Lyons, New York
Arrive at the hill before 6:30 AM. Make sure there's no stones in the road ascending the hill. This particular hill is great because all oncoming traffic can be seen and heard, especially on a Sunday morning or evening. These 2 times are the only times I will ride. Lotta fun. Helmets are always required. TC

Sunday AM Wayne County-Lyons, NY
There are some absolutely bitchin hills near Lyons New York on County Road 6. It's about an 8 mile stretch of country Dairy Farm type hills dotted with a house every thousand feet or so. It runs between NY 96 and NY 31. About 2/3 of the way from NY 96 is a very nasty hill which runs south. I will be there around 5:30 am to do some runs. Got my new Bear 181 trucks. Maybe if someone else shows up they might record one of my atempts at getting 50 mph on my first try. Either way I'll be there with adreniline on !!! Slide On Baby, here we go for a ride !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got these 107mm Electric Flywheels-still haven't figured out what exactly their for though. No one in the skateboard industry ever has any straight answers about the products they invent and sell. They just generalize everything so not to confuse anyone and let the product sell. I guess if you want to make up a porpose for them "they are everything to everybody!"haha ! I've combined these "softball" size wheels with the Bear 52 degree($49.00 pair) 181mm truck. Doh Doh rock hard bushings, on a 42" Stella drop down Battle axe. I have never felt safer. The ride at 40mph is very stable and not scary at all. I still have the ceramic bearings to upgrade to but I will need $80.00 for that set. I will be visiting some bitchin hills this weekend probably in Bloomfield, Rushville, Cheshire and maybe Bristol. "Bombs Away !"

50 Per.....

Rushville New York is where I will be "bombing hills" next week weather permitting. Weekdays are mostly mid to late afternoon runs. My new "Stella"Battle Axe is very stable at high speeds and I am very comfortable on it. The usual 5 seconds of the unknown feeling as experienced on a stock 48" pintail never resonate on this odd feeling longboard. This longboard is true to downhill because it's cupped in the middle which restricts wobbles that usually happen above 25mph.......RIDE ON MAN !!
